Literature Text

Well, you're first week in your new apartment did not go the way you had planned for it to and that could be thanked by a certain Prussian ghost you had. First, you decided it wasn't safe to change with any lights on so he, you hoped, would not be able to see you. Second, you were not able to take a shower alone without him coming up and you were not going to try and shower with the lights off for fear you might trip and get hurt. Of course, the only plus side is that you no longer had to worry about being bored or having it be too quiet, though a bit less talking might be a good thing.
"Gilbert quit that," you ordered him, slightly annoyed.
"Quit vhat frau?" he questioned you with a mock tone.
"Quit pacing, I can hear your footsteps and it is annoying," you replied, furrowing your brows as the weight on the couch shifted.
"I'm sorry frau. I get like zhis every year vhen ze date gets near," he told you, sadness leaking from his words.
"You know, you never told me the whole story, how it happened. Can you tell me now?" you pushed him as a unsettling silence fell over the two of you.
"I guess I can, vhere should I begin," he startled, digging through his memories.

~~Le Flashback of Two Years~~ (Le Whoosh)

"Come on frau, I told you I broke up with her," Gilbert pleaded with the thin blonde that was getting ready to leave the room.
"It does not matter if you broke up with her, it matters that you were with her AND me," she spat at him bitterly and slammed the door behind her, in the albino's face.
"Fine, you veren't very pretty anyvays," he muttered as he went to the fridge and pulled out a beer. "The frau vill regret it later and come back."
He sat down on his couch and chugged the cold beer as he turned the television on. He hardly paid any attention to the show as the loud chirping from a yellow bird out-spoke the volume on the television. He turned to his bird and flashed a bright smile at the creature.
"I know you vill never leave me, vill you Gilbird?" he asked the bird, who gave a cheerful chirp as a reply. Gilbert continued to smile goofily at the bird, until a knock at the door caused him to stand up and answer it.
"Vell, vell, vell. I know you couldn't stay-," he started as he opened the door and the color drained from his face.
"Hello Gilbert," a dark-haired girl said as she let herself into his apartment.
"Lacey. Vhat are you doing here, I broke up vith you," Gilbert reminded her.
"Well, I knew you really did not mean it because you love me so I'll give you another chance. I will go make dinner sweetie," she replied as she walked into the kitchen. Gilbert gritted his teeth in anger of the strange woman and followed after her.
"Vell I DID mean it, so get out!" he shouted at the stubborn woman.
"What did you say?" she asked, turning around with a fairly large knife in hand.
"Um, I Uh. Nothing," Gilbert replied, afraid of what she meant do to him.
"Good, now leave so I can continue to cook," she said with a smile and turned back to the food on the counter. Gilbert went back to the living room and used his cell to dial the only person who could help him now, Ludwig.
Ring ring ring.
"Yes bruder?" Ludwig answered the phone. "Vhat to you vant?"
"Vest, I need your help. Lacey is in mien house and I don't know how to get her to leave," Gilbert spoke into the phone quickly but his brother caught it all.
"Just tell her to leave, if you don't she von't leave," Ludwig told him and hung up the phone.
"Pfft, easy for you to say," he muttered to the dead-line.
"Oh Gilbert honey, Dinner is done," a voice called, snapping Gilbert out of his bitterness. He walked into the dining room and saw his favorite food sitting on the table, wurst.
Vll, I guess I can have her leave AFTER I eat. Gilbert thought as he sat down to chow down on the grub.
"How is it?" Lacey asked him with a smile.
"It is gut," he replied with his mouth full.
"Good, because it will make sure you are never with another woman," she told him darkly, smile never fading.
"Vhat?" Gilbert asked as he became light-headed and tired. Why couldn't he breath? He collapsed to the floor, gasping for the air he could not take in. Lacey knelt down beside him, still smiling.
"Good night my sweet Gilbert. Sleep forever," was the last thing he heard before falling completely into darkness.

~~End Flashback~~ (Le Whoosh)

"Oh," was all you could say after Gilbert shared the story with you. You kind of felt bad for the Prussian man.
"Nien, don't feel bad. Besides, you frau are here now and I'm fine vith that," he told you as he kissed your cheek and groped your chest area.
"Frigging ghost!" you shouted as you chucked the couch pillow at him.
"Frau, I thought ve vent over that, it does not vork on me," He stated with a chuckle. You glared at his general direction and stormed back off to your room.
It was highly requested that I create a part dos to this so I did. I do have an idea for a part three if it is wanted.
